MLA Style

Unless otherwise noted, every written assignment you turn in to me - from the response paper to the essay - should be formatted in MLA style. This includes the formatting of your assignment, the use of citations if necessary, and the inclusion of a works cited page if appropriate. If you are unfamiliar with MLA style, you should refresh your memory by returning to the Hacker handbook, which all first-year students use in EN101 and EN102. Alternatively, you can ask me, a reference librarian, or the wise Internet. Here are some screenshots that might refresh your memory:
